Professor Miłosz Jaguszewski from the First Department of Cardiology at the Medical University of Gdańsk is a scholar of the European Society of Cardiology and the Swiss National Foundation. He has undertaken numerous international internships, including at the University Hospital Zurich and Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin. He has been honored with awards both in Poland and abroad, such as the "Supertalents in Medicine" (2018) and the Award from the Board of Presidents of the Polish Cardiac Society, the most prestigious recognition for young scientists in the field of cardiovascular diseases (2019). In 2021, he was awarded an honorary doctorate by the International European University in Kyiv (IEU). He is the author and co-author of over 100 scientific and popular science publications in the field of cardiology and invasive cardiology, published in top scientific journals like the "New England Journal of Medicine," "European Heart Journal," and "Journal of the American College of Cardiology." He serves as the editor-in-chief of "Cardiology Journal," a journal indexed in the Philadelphia list. He is a reviewer and editor for numerous scientific periodicals. A member of the Polish, European, and American Cardiac Societies, as well as various scientific consortia working on projects with scientific and implementation potential. He possesses extensive experience in conducting and creating clinical research in Poland and abroad. He is the founder of the non-commercial clinical study ADONIS-PCI, sponsored by the Medical Research Agency. He was a member of the Council of Young Scientists (IV and V terms) at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. He willingly shares his knowledge and passion for medicine - at his alma mater, he is involved in a range of activities aimed at supporting and developing young scientific talents and promoting science, such as the Young Scientist Program, which he initiated.
